Norrøna is a Colin Archer designed 32'x11.5' draft 5' double-ended gaff ketch launched in 1985. Volvo diesel, Windhunter wind steering or steer by compass.

A 12 amp wind or water towed alternator, 2-75 watt solar panels 4-6vdc, 450 ah house and 1 start batteries, 6 cu ft 12 vdc reefer. Running lights are 12vdc or oil!

Norrøna has all her sails off and getting ready for wet winter storage while Peter fly's south to GA and NC to hang in the mountains, fall 1999.

Looking forward. Note bottom of hand made oil lamp which hangs from the butterfly hatch. There are five 7" bronze open- ing port holes in main cabin, 1 in the head.

Ham equipment: Yaesu FT900 at, SGC tuner, 23' marine vertical, Yaesu FT8500, Kantronics Kam+. The ground is connected to the wire mesh network of the ferro hull, superior!

Main cabin looking forward to port. Head is forward to starboard.  Large V berth for 2 forward.

Looking aft to the galley, port. Stove is non pressurized alcohol. Foot pump for fresh water,  and hand pump for salt water. Reefer and nav station to star- board. Engine aft.

Corey's first
nature-al shower by rain but he had to finish by using the solar shower, 
playing with soap suds and just now got chilled by a breeze!
